Capacity-Building Workshop for Representatives of Cities and Municipalities

The Institute for Youth Development KULT organized a one-day workshop intended to build the capacities of local units of self-government to support youth in launching and running their own businesses. The workshop was held on December 8, 2020 at Hotel Hills in Ilidža.

Support from Local Administrations Crucial for Entrepreneurs

The Institute for Youth Development KULT hosted a conference on the Importance of Municipalities and Cities in Supporting Entrepreneurs in the Local Community on October 15, 2020. Participants included young entrepreneurs, representatives of local administrations in charge of the business sector and economic development and other important stakeholders.

BBA, a local partner for the Career Guidance Services establishment in Korca

Beyond Barriers Association is now a local partner to this campaign and in collaboration with the association Women in Development- Korce, under the direction of Partners Albania, have designed the steps of the advocacy campaign for the city of Korca. A training of two days in September was offered to both organisations and the steps of the campaign were design. The Law on Youth in Albania is "en route"

The intervention in the draft Law on Youth in Albania was last year part of BBA's advocacy campaign. After the Law was enacted by the Parliament, the government continued with preparing the bylaws and paving the way to start its implementations.
