NFYE

In order to provide a sustainable platform for dialogue among CSOs and public authorities on national youth employment and entrepreneurship policies and to further support national advocacy campaigns, National Forum on Youth Employment (NFYE) will be established by each project partner.

These fora will be established after the elaborated stakeholders’ analysis and mapping of the actors relevant for the general topic of youth employment, but also for the sub-topics covered through regional discussion fora. It will also be facilitated as an open forum for discussion based on experiences drawn from Structured Dialogue. The framework for this NFYE is established on the findings of the wider, Regional Forum which secures inputs, best practices, and know-how from the EU level and national level.

The NFYE will meet at least quarterly. Certain members of the national fora will participate in regional thematic fora and participate in the policy dialogue at the regional level. Upon creation of the regional policy briefs, members of the NFYE will meet to revise the policy recommendations provided, particularly those related to country-specific context.

The NFYE meetings will also serve to provide the space for consensus on the national advocacy campaigns aimed to introduce concrete policy interventions. NFYE members will also meet to discuss policy process relevant for the youth employment area at the national level throughout and beyond the scope of the Action. NFYE will also participate in the selection of the participants for the Capacity Building Trainings – Basic Level Policy and Policy Advocacy in the field of Youth Employment Policy. They will act as a Selection Committees at the level of countries and choose the participants in line with the outlined criteria.
