Center for education and transparency - CETRA

“Towards Bigger Employability of Youth from Rural Areas in South Banat”

"Center for education and transparency – CETRA” is a Serbian civil society organization, based in the city of Pančevo and established in 2017. Our organization works in the fields of citizen education and advancement of local and regional cultural dialogue in the Western Balkans. We also promote creative business and raise awareness of the importance of a modern, transparent, efficient and responsible public administration in the region.

During 2017 and 2018, CETRA was an active partner of the “British Council” in implementing initiative "Active Citizens" for the Western Balkans territory. The “Active Citizens” gathered around 35 civil society organizations from the Western Balkans and represented a training program for empowering young social leaders in local communities. Also, CETRA is the creator of the first Serbian online free tax guide for the citizens called “Open taxes”.

Objectives of our project include empowering and raising employability capacities of  NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training) young people living in rural areas of the south Banat region, strengthening capacities of civil society organizations in the south Banat region to promote and initiate improvement of public employment policies for NEET youth from rural areas and raising public awareness about the employment and employability problems of NEET youth living in rural areas of the south Banat region.
