On 20th February 2020, "Center for education and transparency“ successfully organized a workshop „Youth entrepreneurship – making the first steps“ for a group of 10 young people from the village of Starčevo. Held in the premises of "Cultural center" in Starčevo, this workshop has been useful in terms of providing important practical know-how (tips and tricks) to the participants in the process of establishing themselves as youth entrepreneurs.

The selected group of NEET young people has showed high level of interest for gaining knowledge regarding skills that are important in developing entrepreneurial business model. This practical training was focused on using the know-how from Social Impact Award.

CETRA's expert had the opportunity to discuss and gather important information from our participants about:

- the specific issues that themselves face in the process of youth empowerment in the countryside;

- potential entrepreneurship activities, programs and ideas that can be implemented for the betterment of the current situation in south Banat region;

- harnessing youth capacities for developing local entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Our next youth workshop will be held in the municipality of Vršac on 5th of March 2020, in cooperation with "Vršac Student union".
