"Youth Online Work (YOW)"

National Association of Orphans of Albania was created by a group of adult intellectual initiators themselves orphans in state institutions, and  since then it continues its activities for this target group. National Association of Orphans of Albania is decorated by the President of the Republic of Albania, with the "Medal of Gratitude". National Association of Orphans of Albania was honored by the Ministry of Labor and Equal first prize on the occasion of the 20th National Day May Help the orphans. 

"Finding employment is not a standardized process in Albania. Ideally it should involve specific steps to be taken and specific skills and qualifications to be achieved before applying to enter a desired occupation. State Employment Services and Career Guidance for young people in education institutions are not organically linked and do not work efficiently to match demands and supply in regards to skills needs and employment."

Overall objectives of the project include raising capacities for young people coming from the suburban areas of Tirana and Kamza, with ICT skills through non-formal education activities, supporting employment for the trained young people through internship schemes and online advertising and involving policy makers at local levels and training actors to make use of online instruments provided by the project for training and employing young people, in order to boost youth employment.
