Training of youth in "Writing CV and Job Interview" Kucove, Albania

During December 5-7th, 2019 SHFWH has organized the fourth training of marginalized youth in work skills, namely in "Writing CV and Job Interview" as a part of its project “Create opportunities for employment and self-employment of marginalized youth” under WeB4YES project – Western Balkan Civil Society Organizations for Youth Employment Support. 

60 marginalized youth of urban and rural areas of Kucove, Albania aged 16-30 years, have participated in the training held by experienced local trainer Vinjola Berhanaj. Youth came from families in need especially from rural families and Roma and Egyptian community.  

The training aims to teach marginalized youth how to write a proper CV according to the specific requirements of the job offers and how to successfully participate in/conduct a job interview.

The training used formal and informal methodologies to achieve maximum absorption of knowledge and its effective usage by youth to obtain a job place in the future. After being explained guidelines of CV writing by sections they were engaged in writing their own CVs.

Then youth got introduced with job interview structure, questioning, presentation. They developed their own job interviews in groups. Role play exercises further developed marginalized youth skills of presentation, expression and goal focused behavior.

Training has succeeded in creating skills of marginalized youth to write a job CV and to be object of job interview.
