Info sessions about the sub-granting scheme held in Albania

Beyond Barriers Association closed the events to inform and promote the Open Call for the Award of the Small Grants. About 50 representatives of 35 small organisations working with employment and entrepreneurship issues of youth all over Albania, took part in the two info sessions. The events were held in Arka Youth centre in Shkodra on 24 May and in Europe House in Tirana on 27 May. 

The  info session in Shkodra was also aired on Antena TV (local media) at the evening news edition while the Project ccoordinator of Web4YES in Albania explained the aim of the Call and also spoke about the Web4YES project, highlighting that the specific call gives a chance to small organisations not only to be empowerd but also to increase their efforts in advocacy and networking. 

The participants at the events expressed a positive regard towards the opportunity given by the Call and especcially the fact that it will target the grassroot organisations. After its publicationon 7 May, BBA received a very positive reaction and interest about the Call. While aftre the info sessions a few questions for clarification were also receive, showing us that there is an increased interest to apply for the call.
