"Development of Public Policies in the Youth Employment Field" was the 2 days training implemented by Beyond Barriers organisation on 3-4 April 2019, held in Durres Albania, in terms of Web4YES project.
The main aim of this 2 days event was to bring 15 grasroot CSO leaders to a common understanding on public policy making and improving their knowledge on running succesful advocacy campaigns in the field of youth employemet and youth entrepreneurship.
The 15 CSO representatives coming from Durrës, Fieri, Korça, Lezha, Shkodra, Tirana, Vlora and Pogradec spend 2 working days in learning more about Web4YES, getting to explore the 4 Policy Papers produced by the project, learning the steps for a succesful public advocacy campaign and how to plan a concrete advocacy strategy based on the reccomndations and interventions needed in local level in the fields of youth employability and entrepreneurship in Albania.
At same time the participants had a chance to also dicuss the various existent public policies, laws, startegies and other legal tools that are used in Albania to regulate or boost the youth employability. Particular attention was put on improving skills and knowledge of the participants, as a step that can further help them in their daily endevours in promoting, boosting and advocating for youth employability.
