Second National Forum in Podgorica

Association for Democratic Prosperity - Zid within the regional project WeB4YES - Western Balkan Civil Society Organizations for Youth Employment Support, after successfully implemented the first National forum in Podgorica and first Regional forum in Skopje, organized in the hotel "Aurel" the second National Forum in order to establish an open and constructive dialogue on the conditions for the development of entrepreneurship and development and the promotion of lifelong entrepreneurial learning.

Participation in the second National Forum was attended by representatives of ministries, relevant state institutions, as well as stakeholders from the private and NGO sectors. The Forum was opened by the Head of the EU Delegation to Montenegro, Mr. Aivo Orav, Director General of the Directorate for Investments, Development of Small and Medium Enterprises and Management of EU Funds in the Ministry of Economy Mr. Radosav Babić, Independent Advisor for General Education at the Ministry of Education PhD. Miomir Anđić, coordinator of the program for self-employment of the Agency of Employment of Montenegro Mrs. Svetlana Krgović and Executive Director of ADP-Zid Mrs. Sanda Rakočević.

The forum discussed about shortcomings and barriers that prevent young people to develop their entrepreneurial ideas and to start their own business, how young people see career development in their own entrepreneurship, whether society and the system support them, and the necessity of introducing entrepreneurial learning at all levels of formal, but also in non-formal education. A Report on the conditions for the development of entrepreneurship for young people, as well as a Report on the development and promotion of lifelong entrepreneurial learning, was also presented. Forum participants agreed on common conclusions and recommendations, which will be further incorporated in national reports.
